Sometimes a room here and there isn't the answer — the house itself needs to change. We take on whole-home renovations, room additions, dormers, and layout reconfigurations that open a chopped-up floor plan into something you actually want to live in.

Almeida Family Construction manages the entire job: design coordination, permits with your town, framing, structural work, mechanicals, insulation, drywall, finishes and the final punch list. You deal with one company and one point of contact instead of chasing six trades.

Massachusetts permitting is its own project. We handle the applications, coordinate inspections, and schedule the trades so an inspector isn't waiting on work that isn't ready. Removing a bearing wall means an engineered beam and a real load path — we size it properly and build the posts and footings to carry it, because "it looks fine" is not a structural analysis.

We also plan around you. Renovations are disruptive, so we set up dust protection, keep a clear path through the house, and sequence work to leave you a functioning kitchen or bathroom for as long as possible.
